Banding baby chicks...When???

I've found velcro not to work real well. they seem to pull most of them off. I use zip ties and check them at least weekly for looseness. Usually need 3 to 4 upgrades in size before they are full grown.

Do a search here on BYC for banding there is alot of threads on it. I would say use something light then lter switch to bandetts.
