Is this an EE pullet? (sold as Ameraucana chick to us at IFA so I have since learned that feed stores can't sell Ameraucanas - they are instead Easter Eggers? Is that correct?)

Anyway, she is a bantam, and she is 16 wks old. Her face and comb have turned bright pink the last week. Up until now they've been pale and her comb has always been non-existent to tiny.

We are rehoming all our cockerels this week and need to make sure she's a pullet before we keep her. We assumed she was because she doesn't act like a rooster (everyone else is crowing) and she has hardly a comb at all. Thanks!

LOL It looks like she has blue lips in the last photo - but that's just my husbands shirt.

Yes, a pullet, but she looks like a black-breasted red (bbred) Old English Game or a dutch.. You will know went she lays if it is green/blue...

Tell me more...if she lays green or blue, what will that mean? Thanks!

And YAY that she's a girl! We were 4/5 roos out of our spring chicks - she is our ONLY girl from that bunch!

Green egg = Easter Egger
White/Cream egg = Dutch or OEGB

ETA: She looks to be more like Dutch w/ her white earlobes. OEGB have red earlobes.

Her earlobes are actually blue. But I agree. I found a picture of a Gold Dutch on Feathersite just now that looks exactly like her. I also saw chicks that looked like her too called "Gold Partridge Dutch". Can't wait for eggs!
