I'm such a goof. Because I was not looking for silkies I wasn't even thinking of that. So I guess I'm the proud mama of a little partridge silkie baby.

I showed my husband a picture of my box of new chicks, and he said, "Oh I guess that light one must be a silkie?" I replied, "No, that's a self blue OEGB. Silkies have black beaks, feet, and skin.....Hey, that's what this little mystery baby looks like!"
