Bantam breed help please!

I grew up with them, but it was a challenge learning how to do it as the Mom. I tell everybody building a hen house & coop was a good marriage booster. We had the same end goal & compromised & yes bickered, along the way. All great fun! I have 2 kids & they enjoy them as well esp my youngest. My Mama is thrilled & maybe somewhere Daddy is looking down amused. We live in the boonies on an acre surrounded by family lands & a bean feild, so chickens are a natural choice for country living. This is our 2nd batch of babies. Something got all of ours last year & we were just sick about it. Hadn't planned on more this yr bc we have a puppy & a new camper. Not going to camp as much as we'd planned, so here's hoping our nice neighbor will feed them while we're gone in June.

@TnM I think we're going to be a bigger coop instead of buying a second one. We've got a 3 year old son and he's a handful sometimes, but he loves the chickens and likes helping me with them. We're having issues with neighborhood dogs roaming and I'm having to watch the girls like a hawk to make sure the jerks don't get them. I can't wait to go camping this summer, I think the kiddo will be big enough to go and have fun!
