What bantam breed would have blue ears? I have a black bantam that is about 6 weeks old. It looked like a plain black chick kind of like an Australorpe when I got it.

In the past week or so I noticed its ears were blue. It is the one chick I have not been able to identify yet. I got this chick in an Ideal bantam assortment.

I wondered about that but this chick is larger than the rest of the bantams. It is not as big as my standards of the same age though so it is definitely a bantam.
I looked at the individual dutch bantam breeds at ideal and I didn't see black dutch bantams even though it appears they sell them in their assortment.
Its neck seems long and it has long legs too.

Well, it might just be a disformation thingy mabob (Lol, I don't know the words) Or, it's a different breed than I know of... As you can see, my Polish has these blue earlobes, my other polish doesn't:

Minorca, black Rose comb, black Andalusian, Dutch, White Faced black Spanish, and Leghorn are a few that I can think of off the top of my head that would have white (blue) ears. Oh, and I think some OEGBs have white ears too.

I got slikies for chrismas and they are 3 months old now and the can have black feathering, one more toe, blue ears, and black/dark bule skin i hope this helps.
