Bantam Breed?

I don't know what breed but my mystery 2 wk bantam is alot smaller.

I will be watching to find out what everyone thinks they are....
I seldom post... just like to linger and see if my thoughts are like anyone elses...
I will say they seem big for bantams...

I bet they are both Americana's. I know they dont both have green legs, but I am pretty sure the 2nd one is an Americana because I think I see muffs. The 1st one I am not 100% sure of, but I am going to say Americana on that one too. It is hard to tell if they are bantams or not, if you want to know for sure, take a picture of them next to something.

He got them at a feed store they are not Ameraucana's they would be Easter Eggers, I don't think they are bantams or if they are they might be a mix. I know that there have been some post from some people who got mixed breeds from the hatchery. I wonder if maybe the roosters changed pens. Now they could be Easter eggers I would give it another couple of weeks to feather in. I know that some EE's loss their muffs and beards when they start to feather in then get them back. I would post again in a couple of weeks and maybe we could tell then. They seem to have very long legs for bantams. Whatever they are they are going to be really pretty.​

They kinda look like my black tailed Japanese bantam. Mine is a buff and yours looks much darker around the wings. More black where mine was kind of light brown. I don't know if they have a standard counterpart or not. Also, they do look big. Mine is around 5 weeks old and is smaller than most newly hatched chicks I have seen. So I would also have to guess a mix of some kind.

Huh. If the second one had fuzzy legs, I'd say it was a salmon faverolle pullet since it looks quite a bit like mine. But I guess not. Sorry, no clue. Just have to wait till they're bigger, I guess. I still have a few that are over a month old and still on't know what they are.
