My little Sebright bantam keeps... Making advances... On my black sex link pullet. They are both around 15-16 weeks. Is this normal? He has a bunch of bantam hens to himself but he really prefers the BSL.. She doesn't seem to mind and they hangout all the time. Is this weird? Should I let it continue?

I've had it happen in my flock....opposite however. I had old english game bantam hens who were in love with a LF leghorn rooster. And they successfully produced chicks. The offspring were medium sized. I never actually witnessed them mating, but the hens seemed none the worse for wear. Sometimes chickens don't know their size

Here's one of the offspring. A great layer and broody. She inherited the floppy comb and whitish earlobe of the leghorn, coloring and body type of the OEGB. She's probably about 3 pounds.

What a cute hen! I want to hatch some eggs and don't know of they would be large fowl, bantam sized or a medium size. Glad to know my birds aren't just weird!
