I'm hoping to hear from personal experience which would be friendlier our girls are pets and held often, which would be better pet with kids the bantam buff brahma or bantam mottled cochin
Thank you for your help

That's what I've been leaning towards and so pretty, I've been concerned about heat tolerant was one of the reasons of Brahma , but it's my understanding that they adapt, and I do have lots of shade, misters, thank you

We have a lot of weeks with temperatures over 90F with high humidity during the summer and early fall; May thru September and my cochin seem uneffected.

That is good to hear, we have very low humidity but very hot dry heat up to 110+ I'm in Northern California, but I do live in a green belt lots of shade and coops on the east with a roof, to keep out of end of day sun, thank you
