the best way is live mother nature do his job i never used incubator only broody hens that is the best all my bantams grow healthy with free disease strong they start crowing at 2 months of age also try to mate with the little sisters already here some pictures before and after first picture 1 day old second picture 1 1/2 moths free in the yard 7 of 7 4 boys 3 girls all brown red and only one spangle they so fun to watch
 
I learned the hard way that you need to put marbles in the waterer. My only little d'uccle laid down in the waterer and drown. I have never had that happen with any of my full sized birds.
