I have 2 bantam chicks almost 3 weeks old the one you can see new feathers coming in and on the other one you do not see any. Can anyone tell me when to expect new feathers?

I have no idea what breed how will pictures tell you why one is growing new feathers and one is not and they are not from the same family.

In some breeds like Bantam cochins the males sometimes feather much slower. Just was wondering if they were a breed known for slower feathering in the males.
