I've never actually owned a d'Uccle, myself, but I did see this absolutely gorgeous variety called Silver Mille Fleur last year at the Ohio Nationals and I've been in love with it since. No he was calling them Bantam Barred Rocks. I thought he was clueless..Hmm, well, there are Barred Rock bantams, so maybe that's what they are? I know there are Cuckoo OEGBs, too, and Barred Cochins, though the foot feathering would be the giveaway on those... I think d'Anvers come in a cuckoo / barred variety, too? Any other details about them that you can remember, like comb type or whether they're bearded or not?
