Bantam chicks and feed

I have had 6 bantams hatch out so far and are now in the brooder. I have chick feed (crumbles) in the feeder and they are pecking at the feeder but appear to be having a hard time with the feed. Should i crush the feed up finer or just let them do their thing?

They are fine. Most likely playing with it more than eating.

Make sure you also have grit as chicks need it to digest the food. With plenty of fresh water.
