Lizzie is 2 yrs old, this is her 3rd prolapse. I am using prep H, put warm soaks over her prolapse area, and clean her up real good twice a day. I have been able to take care of the previous episodes, but this one seems to be more of a problem. She has had a white liquid discharge, and there is a odor of amonia. She is eating, having normal droppings, even laid a softshell egg yesterday. She spends the night in the house in a roomy wire cage covered with towels on 3 sides. She seems happy. The past 2 days I have let her out with the other girls, she is happily scratching around etc. The prolapse seems to go in and out, if that makes any sense. Liz is a good girl, and I want to do all I can to take care of her. Should I use any antibiotics? This morning I have not seen the white watery liquid. Could she be recovering? I would appreciate any advice you can share with me...and Lizzie. Thank you,
