My Broody hen raised some bantam cochin babies, but now I have to find homes for some. The black bantam is still looking for a new home. No shipping, but I am willing to meet up out toward Orange County or Corona in order to find a nice home. Otherwise, local pick up.
Sadly, I can not keep the males because I am in a "NO Roosters allowed" town. He will be 8 weeks old this weekend. Our cochins have been handled regularly by myself and children.
I would also consider pairing the cockerel up with a pullet...if it means a male gets a home. Pullets are $20 each. They have been raised on organic feed from Modesto Milling.
