I wanted to elaborate on cockerel #2. I am unsure if this is a genetic defect or just a trait he has but, it seems, his tail carriage is a bit "off" Here are some additional photos... just wanted everyone to know what to expect.

Hey Nadine, I gotcha on #4

I solved the mystery about cockerel #2 by posting on the cochinsinternational forum. It appears he was picked on which caused his tail to grow in abnormally. There is a ton of new growth coming in in 3 different areas on his rump. Im not sure if he will ever be "normal" looking tail wise but, at least it is nothing genetic.
