Bantam Cochin Project Mille Fleur Pair

I'll post pics today. This is the nicest pair I'll be offering for sale this year.

Here's the male. He's this year's hatch and is a bit light but, still lots of color and great type

Here's the hen. She's this year's breeding hen and was last year's hatch. She's going through a molt right now. I've also included some pics of her daughter below to show how she passes along her type

here's another pic of her before her molt.. she's the one on the right

and, here's her butt last winter.. right in the middle

Here's one of her daughters. I had an excellent typed cochin male in with her and two other "split for typed" cochins so I can tell which ones were hers

I really should have put these two with darker partners for a mille fleur project but, so many folks have been into the calicos.. I thought they could work for that.. or you could divide them and breed to other birds for mf.

Noooo!!! Wildwood cochins, you got the last trio and they were beautiful!!!

I just got a pretty mille fleur pair from Lynne that is a bit on the dark side and needs some lightening up and these guys are gorgeous!! Plus I love the calico look too!!
