They are hillarious when they are all wet!!

eta: My little Cochy used to be the one out in the rain and mud sloshing around and getting all wet. What a girl.

Love to see pics of yours that show perspective. Cindy, I kept waiting for her to get more fluff, but it appears she wont be much of a Cochin, LOL...In weight or fluff mass! She is a cute little Munchkin, that's for sure. And surprisingly, DH adores her.

The only ones I have pics of right now are my full grown ones on my page <<<---. I downsized babies before I left so I've only got three wee bitties right now and they're just a few months old. Pretty small, though. I'll see if I can nab pics tomorrow IF it ever stops raining. They're all fluff, though, you can't even see their feet or bodies, really, due to the fluff factor.

Well, show quality she ain't, LOL. I just got a bantam when I was looking for a companion for a single hatchling. She was just so cute and the right size at the time, from all the ones in the feedstore anyway. At least she will lay eggs, albeit small ones, and probably go broody. Heck, can she sit more than one standard breed egg at a time, LOL?

Cyn, she looks just the right size to me. I would be surprised if Tina was any bigger than that. I could weigh her for you, but the last time I did I believe she was just a few ounces more than Sasha, my millie fleur d'uccle!
Here's a pic of Tina with a couple of her babies. The babies were 4-5 weeks in this picture. You can see that she's not much bigger than them!

Thank you, Carri! She really isn't much bigger than her babies, is she? She's such a good mama, your Tina. Maybe Shadow will be my main broody some day. Unless I need to hatch more than two eggs at a time, LOL!

Here is a pic of Uno. He is very small also and was hatched 4-19.

Just for comparison here is another with him behind my Silver Phoenix, about the same age and Phoenix grow slow.

I had Uno's parents and another Bantam Female, the other Female was bigger than the other two. I think some are just bigger. Uno's mom was an egg laying machine though. Sometimes 2 a day.

She is beautiful for sure, and she looks about the right size. Her shape is much different from my cochins though- that picture makes her look long and thin, and her color..is that lavender?

Freddy and Coch in the dirty coop last winter. Only pic I got other wise I wouldnt be showing my dirty coop here. Freddy is much bigger than Cochy because of the roo/hen difference.
