Last week, I noticed that my 2-year-old bantam Cochin had large balls of mud/poop hanging from the feathers between her legs. I cut them off and washed her bottom. Even with the balls of poop gone now, she walks like she's still has something between her legs and moves very slowly. She has really short legs of course and seems to pick up dirt naturally. My other chickens (all larger breeds) don't seem to have any issues, but the Cochin just seems uncomfortable. She doesn't try to groom herself at all and seems more out of it than normal.

Any advice please?

Here's a bump. I'm not sure what's wrong. I know I sure love my bantam cochins; they're sweet birds, great layers, and wonderful broody hens. Hope she gets better.

Need more symptoms to get a diagnosis
How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
