Bantam cochin

Six week old bantam mottled cochin. I ordered a pullet but her comb is developing faster than the other breeds I ordered. Thoughts?

Ok in going to get in on this also, 15 week old cochin bantam? Will Mercury be a Hen or Roo? I have yet to hear a crow!

That's what I keep thinking, but no crow yet! I had a hen that hatched 3 years ago & thought she was a hen, then thinking she was a rooster because the development of the Comb & waddles. So she ended up being named Oscar, but she turned out to be a hen. Will keep ya posted on what he/she becomes......

My almost 15 week old EE isn’t crowing yet either, but he’s participating in other cockerel activities (lots of mating, unfortunately for his favorite pullets ). I don’t have any older cockerels/roosters with mine, but I’ve heard that can sometimes delay crowing. Do you have any older boys with him?

Well he/she has not shown any mating signs yet, but there is another little roo in with him/her so that may be it!
