Bantam Cochins coloring

So I have two female Cochins (2 weeks old) and they are both black, but one has reddish/orange tips. Ive looked everywhere but can't find anything on that coloring.. The other one is fully black. Thanks!

I too have a black cochin with copper leakage, mine has it around the neck. I suspect yours might be a little too young to determine fully. Can't wait for you to post a picture when she's fully feathered!

Okay, I'll hazard a wild guess. I would say black roo over gold laced hen.
Now let the feathering commence.

Could be brown red but it’s too young to be sure.

I have a chick that's the same, in fact a bit more copper coming through in a nice pattern along its wing feathers. It is now 2 weeks old.. and hoping it's not a roo! Can't wait to see the coloring!
