Got these from the Assorted Bantam bin at TSC. 8 weeks old. The frizzles comb and wattles came in very red very early, so I’m thinking, (hoping), roo?
I’d really like these to be a pair...

To make sure, you have only 2 birds, 2 pictures of each? At 8 weeks neither should have red combs if they are pullets but I did have a polish that had red wattles at 6 weeks and turned out to be a hen. The one on the red is cockerel but I am not sure the one on the left is.

yes, only 2 birds. 8 weeks old and the frizzle really looks like a roo to me. Hoping the smooth feathered one is a hen. Both are starting to get red in combs but wattles on the smooth one are smaller than the frizzle

would say that the Frizzle is definitely a cockerel, not sure about the other. It could be a pullet or a cockerel that’s less dominant?
