Bantam coop

I need a an idea for a coop that is big but small so the birds dont have to much space it is 5 hens and 1 rooster going to live in this coop and what would be the best wood to use for is?

There is no such thing as "too much room" for a chicken. Build the coop as big as you can! Besides, you will probably end up wanting to expand at some point anyway

A 4x4 coop, or bigger would be plenty of room. Bantams only need 1.5 to 2 sq ft per bird. I use just any kind of wood I happen to have or can get pretty cheap. The wood you use is really up to you.
