My BIL is actually back home from the hospital after nearly dying there. I am so happy for him and his wife, as well as the rest of the family. They all depend on him so much. Looking forward to seeing him this fall.

Oh good! Im sorry glad he pulled through. That was quite a startle im sure. Do the Dr's expect it to happen again?

My SIL just cam over to tell us about their vacation to Alaska. Unfortunately they went last month during the coldest weather that could possible happen. -45 or lower. They saw some nice things but being outside for any extended time wasn’t possible. They bought all kinds of cold weather gear. One thing they wanted to see was the northern lights. I don’t think I would go to Alaska in the winter.

Woops! If you are going to go in winter at least go in the very early part! I wouldn't want to be in AK for winter ever. Dear Husband was born in Minnesota, he keeps trying to drag me there for ice fishing. Im happy for the fish , but wouldn't want to be on the ice!
