Did I ever mention that spring can't possibly come soon enough?

Give it a shot...it all depends on how low the internal temp of the eggs got, which you can't really know.

If you do a booklet and need an editor for proofreading, let me know, I've edited one book (fiction) that went to press already. Would be neat to help on a ducky project, and a second set of eyes never hurts!

I'd love to see this info published!

On the Butter/Apricot Silver issue, I did have two individuals, one pullet and one drakelet, crop up from my Butters this year that appeared to be Apricot Silver, but not hugely light like you said. I saw a post from Brice Wonders on another forum where he said something to the effect of this happens in a lot of Butterscotch families, and that he had gotten some of those himself out of his line. I sure would like to see more published on this issue, maybe with pictures if good ones can be had.

Hey, Duckluck, I just looked at your website and am very impressed with your site and your ducks! Beautiful ducks, beautiful setup, nice site and Congrats on all those show wins!

I, too, am curious about the Apricot Silvers.
I have a little beauty here that I'm pretty sure is an Apricot-she's gorgeous. Her coloring is what I describe(for lack of a better term) a ginger or cinnamon color with a primary white background. Her head, however is the color of a cinnamon sugar donut(like my technical terminology?). She doesn't fit the typical picture of an Apricot Silver that I've seen when I've searched online for pictures, so she has me baffled.

I've bought some ducks from her and I couldn't be more pleased with them.
I also drug her all over Shawnee begging her to help me pick out ducks to buy-I came home with some beauties thanks to duckluck.

Had it not been for her, I wouldn't have ended up with a gorgeous pair of Pencils from Jim Monk!
Plus, she just really cool to hang out with.

Thanks!

It is a work in progress and I still have a lot of material to get on there, but I'm glad to have it up so people can browse the ducks at will without me having to try and have links here and there all willy-nilly for them. I have had a lot of fun last year showing my ducks and am looking forward very much to this show season!

Aw, you too, Easttxchick!

I just wish we lived closer, think of how many shows we could go to! The ducks would be dizzy and need Dramamine from being in the car so much! It was a whole barrel of monkeys' worth of fun talking and shopping ducks with you!

I have hybrid lilly's in house from last spring, I get up this morning and went into where my plants are stored, and then out to green house and I have lilly's and other stuff sprouting and blooming but it is still cold here, and I have spring fever now, it has taken ahold of me like the plague, LOL
