Thanks alot for the info, and you made me laugh. I treat all of my pets like kids. I even had my 35 yr. old daughter tell me that i was letting my chickens and ducks take over my life. Actualy she said i have human chicldren that should be important in my life. Then i made her come over to see the ducklings. Well you can imagine how that went, all i kept hearing was omg, are they ever cute. So i explained to her that the birds aren't more important, it's just i can't stop them in the middle of hatching just to go and babysit when they can take the kids with them instead of always having grama watch them. I guess i spoiled my human kids too. I told her i love them but they should get lives of thier own too. I raised my grandson for twelve years before i told my son to grow up and take responsability and take over. Well it worked and my grandson is happy. Anyway i just built a new coop and run and pond and garden area for my feathered kids and with everyones help on here i have a bunch of new ducks to put in there. Thanks to everyone.
Here is a pic of my kids in the tube with my poodle who thinks she's mom. I've been such a bad mom i haven't had time to shave my dog.
How cute some of the ducklings are waveing. LOL
