so in calls, say you had a grey, with white patches, thats a grey pied, colors is still grey with a pied pattern to it.

peafowl for example have 14-15 colors, but 5 patterns

so even with 14 colors, you can still have 200 different types of peafowl

colors dont generally mix but you can add multiple patterns when available to a single bird

So can you breed a white and a solid color bird and get pied then?

Let me share with you

I use to do that myself, then in nursing school we had to scrape around our nail beds top, cuticles, underneath, and I had just washed my hands, I mean nail brush scrub down,

we placed this on a slide and looked at it under a microscope, BLAHHH, BLHHHH, I vomited when I seen the stuff moving that I didn't realize was there. Then we scrubbed down again, I am talking ASEPTIC technique, they sprayed our hands, and stuck in this

germ box, and the crap was still all on my hands, BLhhhhh, blhhhhhhhhhhhh, LOL, and from that dang day, I ain't put my hands or nails back in my mouth

they actually sell the germ boxes in little shops or ebay, to show kids the germs living on the skin teaching them about no matter who much you wash, they are still there wiggling,

, I know its got to hurt, when I use chemical cleaners or lot of heavy bleach cleaning my crack at the corners and get skin blotted raw, and oh heavens, I will scream to high heavens,

I have latex gloves but just can't get in the hang of them

you can't afford a couple of cheap call hens, but you are over in the wanted section looking for Egyptian geese, well honey, let me sell you a pair, I have a beautiful one year old pinioned pair on our website under the buy it now, or adults for sale or somehwhere on there, they are just GOURGEOUS, and would look really good in photos in your yard

Hey everyone we had a pile of new family members that joined our farm yesterday, , a white wood duck drake, a white call hen, pair silver wood ducks, six pairs of Black East Indies, a apricot wood hen two pair of Regular wood ducks, a regular wood duck hen, a silver appleyard drake, a pair of butterscotch calls, GOSH, oh had some baby Sanjaun rabbits born, had a bunch of babies to hatch wanted to share our photo's but they take so long to load I put them on our ZeaglerDuckFarm.com --- Facebook--- photo album attaching the link, but if it don't work just go to our website and click on the face book link, I am getting in two trio of gorgeous butterscotch tomorrow, if USPS is on time but if not Thurs. and will post photo of them when they arrive, NIGHT, NIGHT, SWEET DREAMS, Don't let the bed bugs bite!

Hey everyone, it's me again. I need to thank everyone who helped me with my tiny calls that kept falling on thier backs. I lost the two the last time but i've just spent two days and nights hatching three tiny, tiny little ones. The cup works. I'm amazed thats all it takes to save a little ducklings life. I hatched three in the bator and two hatched today under mom. She is just about as happy as i am. So thanks to all and so far so good. Here are a couple of pics.

Heres the first one. I am so happy and proud. The second and third ones are still in the cups. I will show more pics when they are all fuzzy and stable on thier feet. Thanks again. Angie.
