oh ok, yep I knew them, I thought I had forgotten something.
Those are part of what Colby is sending me so they arent here yet.
getting 2 trios each of the khaki, chocolate snowies, and blue butterscotch from him.

Aside from what you had for me, all I have here right now are 35 yound birds
self black, black bib, chocolate, choclate bib, 1 magpie, some snowies, whites, blue fawn, a blue bib, mini appleyards, and a couple butters and pastels.

Getting most the others in thsi fall as soon as it cools down, including those buffs, and silvers.

Sure wish October would hurry up and get here.

By then, these in the brooder will be picture ready too, about half are mostly feathered up now, the others are in that begining stage of feathering.

Will load yall up on pics when they all get here and finish growing out.

The yound ones are looking excellent too, Most came from Duck Luck, on here, Gem, and are showing EXCELLENT type, small and stumpy bodies, short fat bills, and those beautiful chipmunk cheeks.

Wont be long

I got some greys that came out with them chipmunk stuffed cheeks and they just don't look that good to me with those little bills and bodies, I will try to get some photo's of them next week and email you them, it may be they just are young and developing, but all I can see when I look at them is those dang puffed stuffed looking cheeks

i just purchased a drake this weekend (with a snowy hen)
and he is said to be a snowy drake. but he looks almost identical to these drakes.

No, the heads are a dark green. I just bought a pair of snowy's this past weekend and I can tell the difference in the green brilliance on the heads, with the snowy drakes head is a lighter brighter green.

I will see if I can get a pic of the 2 for comparison.

Silver Appleyards should have a green head as well a blue/green speculum. I can see eyestreaks in the second one, but I know that they do have green in there heads but this is prompt with blue coloring in calls, they are too dark. I would say you have Blue Butterscotch(appleyard).

Hello again, it's been a long time. You lady's seam to know your bird colours. Maybe these are the ones you are talking about. I was woundering what an apple yard was, maybe i have some and didn't know it. LOL. Well here goes.

Are these boys apple yards?
And what about this little guy?

And then theres this little girl.

And this one.

And these ones.

What makes an apple yard an apple yard? Silly Question. Hope you can help, thanks. Angie.
