I was just wondering what bantam eggs were like i have 6 chicks right now and i have never had bantams before, so about when do they start laying, how big will the eggs be, what color will they be, and also are they ritcher than normal eggs or just the same?

My bantams vary. The Seabrite lays about 3 eggs/week and my Easter Eggers lay around 5 eggs/week. Egg color may be determined by the color of the chicken's ear lobes.

I really like my bantam eggs, which is why I don't even keep standard sized chickens anymore. The yolks in my bantie eggs are about the same size as the yolks in my standard eggs. The yolk is my favorite part of the egg, so that suits me just fine. My bantams took FOREVER to start laying, but I have a flock of show quality Silkies so I gave them some slack. The best part, in my opinion, is that they hardly eat anything. I have 5 chickens and it took them more than a week to each all of the food in their 3lb feeder. I'm giving them fermented feed now and they eat even less since the protein content is higher, there's also zero waste since its wet. WIN!

Is the firmented feed just like corn? And you get it at just the normal feed store? Or is it like mash from a brewery because we feed our cows the corn mash from the brewery and its wet and has lots of protein

I use the layer or gamebird feed from the tractor supply. Add a glug of unpasteurized apple cider vinegar (the kind with the mother, or sediment, floating around in it), and add enough water to cover the feed. Stir it twice a day. After two days it should be bubbling and you'll notice a white film over the top- this is good. You can add things like corn, oats, barley, millet, ect, but I just stick with the feed since that's what my chickens are used to eating. Its super easy, well worth the 10 seconds it takes me to stir it :)
