I hatched 9 bantam faverolles 4 weeks ago.
I got 4 girls and 5 boys, and one of the girl has a little different color than others - she has a bluish grey wings. Please see photos below, you can compare her wing color with other girls' beige/salmon color.
Also, 2 boys have a little different color too. They have pale greysh blue tone on their wings while other 3 boys have almost black.
I am wondering if these colors are called "blue salmon"?
If so, do I have 1 blue salmon girl and 2 blue salmon boys??
Thank you for any input!
Here are the pics

Yes that is a blue salmon girl and two blue salmon boys. They are pretty where did you get them? I can't remember if you got eggs from me sorry.

I have another question.
Is blue salmon dominant over salmon color?
If I breed blue salmon rooster to blue salmon hens, do I get 100% blue salmon?

That is what I though some of those other girls could be blue salmons but you need to pull out the primary feathers to check them. Wait until they are a few months old they look 20 times better!

Nope its not dominant if you breed blue salmon to salmon you will get 50% salmon 50% blue salmon. If you breed blue salmon to blue salmon you get 50% blue salmon 25% salmon and 25% splash salmon. If you breed splash salmon to salmon you get 100% blue salmon.

I hatched out a girl just like the one with the pale blue wings. I will get a recent picture of HIM later. Turned out to be a splash salmon roo.

Ya I just looked over those pictures again the the comb on the "blue salmon pullet" is kinda raised and pink like the other boys I am afraid you might have another boy. The faverolles pullets will have less color you will only be able to tell the salmons from blue salmons and splash salmons by picking them up and looking at the wing feathers.

They're coming from NC, a lady hatched them and is downsizing her flock. I'm picking up four 6 week old fav's and two blue orps, and possibly some silkies, too. I'll try to find out where she got the eggs from.

I'm hoping for a lot of pullets, but I think fav roo's are one of the prettiest out there, so I won't be upset if some boys are in the mix. I'm sure I'll be posting pics of them tomorrow night.
