Bantam Frizzle Cochin 9 weeks old. Is it a roo or hen?

Very new to chickens but I am loving it. I believe this chicken is a Bantam Frizzle Cochin that is 9 weeks old. I always thought he was a hen since the comb looks small and is more pink than red. However, this morning I saw him making sounds like he was trying to crow which I have read some hens will do. So I am just wondering what the experts think.
