Bantam Frizzle Polish

We got our parcel today, she shipped Friday morning and they got here Monday morning. She packed very well, included lots of extra eggs we paid for and also included some extra "barnyard run" from her bantam cochin pens as I asked for.
Thank You so much Tonya, you know I gave these to my wife as a Mother's Day present. She's gonna take the week they are due to hatch off to play with the babies. No fooling.
Anyway a great job done and if I can figure out how to leave feedback for you I will. But until then consider this a

5 Star Transaction, will bid again !!

Feedback. I haven't bid here before but I spent Mother's Day getting everything setup and cleaned. Got our Brinsea 20 all warmed up and had it at proper temp and humidity and stable when the egg parcel arrived.

Tonya, wanted to give you an update. I just candled all of the eggs in my incubator, and all of them are showing significant blood vessels! Not a single egg you sent to me seemed to escape fertilization! So not only did they all arrive in one piece, but they all arrived FERTILE and ready to develop!

I moved some older eggs from the incubator to my broody hen outside, and she has abandoned them twice. So I'm glad I got all of these in the incubator! Can't wait for hatch-day! ... but I still have one more candling before then too. I'll give you another update next week!

LTYgress,

Great to hear you have such a high rate of fertility. We gave eggs to the three frizzle hens who were broody, they went right back to work with them. We take the white frizzles sharing a nest out one at a time for a break and dust bath. What is funny is each of them horse around for about 2 minutes and then head into the big coop where the black frizzle hen is nesting and give her a break off her eggs. It's something that you have to see to appreciate. Eagerly awaiting June 2...

I went out around 9pm last night after darkness fell, and candled the eggs under the broody hens. I'm happy to report that Tonya's eggs that I had out there (a few of the buff polish) were ALL showing blood vessels as well! She sent me a 100% fertilized batch of eggs!

I ordered some white silkie eggs around the same time, and split those up between the hens and incubators as well. But so far I've had a total of four of those turn out unfertilized (out of 14). Tonya ended up sending me a total of 18, and it's 100%!

So... Tonya... um.. what other breeds ya got? LOL!

(Okay, really, no more for now - my count is up to 98 if all of these eggs hatch....!)

LOL

I was trolling the ads looking to see what else I could get too !!
Naah, if I get even a 50 percent hatch rate on the eggs we got (we're running about 10 eggs under the frizzle twins and 8 under the black frizzle hen and the rest (of 30) in the Brinsea ECOS 20 we'll be very happy. These girls seem especially guarded with these eggs like they KNOW something is up. I even sent the Brinsea booklet in PDF form to my MIL so she could "watch along" with us, that booklet describes the daily changes the eggs go through. This is so great !!

LTygress,

Well, how's the candling doing ?? Any progress reports ?? Our girls are fanatically hunkered down on their eggs. I figure a week from Sunday we should have some action...
Good luck with your hatch.
