Received five free mixed breed bantams as my first chickens. Since I also wanted some good egg laying hens, I went out the next day and bought 3 gold sex links and two black Australorp chicks. The bantams were already 2-3 weeks old and were getting their feathers. I do not want any roosters on account of neighbors. One of them concerns me and I'm looking for some help. It's comb is already showing while the others aren't.
One of the other bantams started making a high pitched "crowing" sound. At least I think. I already have arrangements for the other guy. Should I worry about this one?!
