This is my first bantam purchase. I brought 11 of them home this past Tuesday.
They came from Ideal Poultry, by way of Atwoods. A couple may be older than others.
I'm curious about this one. (White at front of photo.) Clean shanks. Pink legs. A bit bigger than the others.

This one. Also clean shanks & pink skin, but smaller than the 1st.

I'm pretty sure the darker one is a cochin, but what color? I don't know what the lighter one is. She is tiny, has clean shanks, and pink skin. She has a nice wing pattern too.

I'm not convinced that this solid black is even a bantam. His/her head & feet seem bigger. There were some black star pullets in the next bin.

I'll add more pictures as I get them. I know I have buff, red, and black, and maybe even a blue and a white cochin. Three are obvious frizzles. What's the odds of that?
Ideal has an extensive list of bantams.

Probably red pyle OEGBs for the first two. If one or both has a pea comb, then white laced red Cornish.

The one you think is a Cochin if probably a buff Brahma, but possibly Mille Fleur. The other in that picture is probably an Easter egger.

Usually black star female chicks have rusty colored faces, so it may just be a larger bantam chick.

Thank you!
I'd love to have an oegb. I think the Cornish are beautiful, but I've heard they are pretty pugnacious.
I wondered if I had a brahma, but I thought a bantam brahma would be larger than the cochins.

Cornish shouldn't be pugnacious. It's always a possibility with any breed, though. Bantam Brahmas as adults are the heaviest breed of bantams but Cochins bantams are big, too. I'm going by color pattern on that one.

I can't remember where I read that, about the Cornish. I certainly love the look of them. I'm looking forward to seeing how they turn out.

Updated photos. I decided to get some new pics, while cleaning their brooder this morning.
I, unfortunately, lost the white frizzle on the 3rd day.😪 She was about 1/4 of the size of the rest.
#10 is still quite a bit bigger than the others
