Hi all -
This auction is for 1 dozen BANTAM White Crested Polish eggs, plus extras.
These eggs will be from a pen that includes a frizzled WC khaki cuckoo rooster and a smooth WC black cuckoo rooster over WC black, WC chocolate, and WC crested khaki cuckoo hens (all hens are smooth). There is also a young WC splash cockerel and a young buff laced frizzled pullet living in this pen temporarily, but I don't believe
either of them are old enough to reproduce yet (but I may be wrong!).
My bantam Polish stock are all originally from private breeders that raise their birds for show. I myself, however, do not show, so I cannot say for sure that chicks from these eggs will be show quality potential, but I am hopeful! Personally, I raise my chickens purely for the enjoyment of the caring for them as pets, and sharing them (and their eggs ) with others - but my breeding policy is to "breed the best to the best, and hope for the best."
So far, these birds have produced WC black, WC chocolate and WC khaki (in both frizzles and/or cuckoos) for me, and for others who have incubated my eggs. Plus, I recently had a single solid white frizzled chick hatch here (see auction pic), so I know that at least my frizzled rooster and one of the hens carry the gene for recessive white.
I've included pics of some of the chicks here, but you can also see some of my adult birds on my photo website at http://www.krsimages.com under "The Flock." I will add new photos as I have time to take them when the weather improves.
Shipping and Payment: According to the USPS website, postage runs $14.50 for a large flat rate box and is listed separate from the auction price. This auction ends next Sunday, and I will pack these eggs for shipping on Monday - but I reserve the right to ship on Tuesday or Wednesday, in case of inclement weather or other unforeseen events. I will not ship past Wednesday of any given week, so that eggs can be delivered before the post office closes for the weekend. Payment will be accepted via Paypal at [email protected], and must be received within 48 hours of auction end in order to ensure shipment that week.
PLEASE NOTE: I will ship 12 of these eggs to the lower 48 states only, and will include any extras I have at the time of shipping. Eggs are guaranteed to be fresh and fertile, and I will pack them so that they are snug and insulated, but I cannot guarantee their viability once they reach their destination, because of circumstances beyond my control after they leave my hands.
I think that covers everything - if not, please feel free to PM me or post here with any questions!
Thanks for looking - and happy bidding!
