Welcome to backyard chickens Hydriad, had to go back and check your post. Too many piggy backers on this thread, I couldn't remember who was the thread starter. I think new members don't realize they should post their OWN thread instead of jumping on another starters. This makes it very confusing for responders.

You have some beautiful silkies, I think they are mainly feathers tho, so not much of a meal.

Hydriad, BTW have you taken a look at the "Silky Thread' also check out the variety of silkies called "Showgirls," they can double as feather dusters - I kid you not.
