Hi everyone, this is Tim. He turned 5 weeks old on monday, and I am pretty worried about him. He started off the same size as the other bantams but in the last 2 weeks he has seemed to be growing, but not as much as the other roo banty's. He also has some weird white spots on the elbow part of his wings, and his back looks like he is stuck in some weird molting phase.
I have watched him and I know he is eating and none of the other birds seem to be picking on him (he is actually the pest lol). I am starting to think there is something medically wrong with him.
He is not acting sick however. Is he just molting funny or is there something wrong?
here are pics of tim.
(pardon the toddler, she loves her chicks)

and this is him next to one of my other roo's who is the same age as him.

TIA for any help

No worries some just have harder molts than others, I have a brown/red cochin boy who went thru the same thing, while his hatch mates were completely feathered out he was stuck in that stage for what seemed like months but was really only weeks, some just feather out faster than others

Thank freakin goodness! I have been so worried over him lol. My husband thinks I am certifiable for being so concerned over a roo but I think Tim is the sweetest lil thing ever.
Thank you so much for responding!

No problem, i felt the same way with my boy and thought there was something wrong with him but now is is as gorgeous as ever. He will come around nicely im sure
