Bantam Roost Diameter?

Hey all!

I am almost finished with my urban chicken tractor and can't remember the recommended diameter for bantam roosts from when I was a kid. I'm getting plymouth rocks, anyone have a rough idea of the roost space I'll need in terms of length? Would a broomstick work?

Chickens should have flat roosts, wide enough to cover their entire foot with feathers. Even a bantam benefits from the wide side of a 2x4" roost, or you could make a platform.
