Bantam Rooster and Hen

I have a really cute little bantam rooster. He looks like a barred rock, but only has single ruffled comb on top, no wattle, bearded and long tail feathers. Any idea what kind he is, or mixed? I'd like to sell him with the bantam hen I have that also looks like barred rock with feathered legs. Any ideas?

No breed comes to mind with your description, could be a mixed breed. Pictures would be a lot easier

Your girl could be a bantam Marans. Without seeing, it is almost impossible to figure out though.

Could you post photos? The rooster could possibly be a Barred Easter Egger or Ameraucana or a cross of those, and the hen could be a barred cochin or barred cochin mix.

I read that as the roo looks like a BR and has a beard and feathered feet, and that the girl looks like a BR with feathered feet. I guess your reading it as her being bearded as well makes sense!! Whoops!!

I was talking primarily about the rooster as that seems to be the prime focus. If ones a mix it is very likley the other is a mix. All the confusion could be ended if we had some pics

my little hen looks like this but the feathers on her legs are darker. She lays a creamy white egg.


my little rooster looks very much like this, but his tail is longer, as tall as his head, and he's a bantam. ,
