2 Questions!

1. What is this rooster? (I've always assumed he is a poor quality BBR OEGB, but maybe not?) He may not appear small in some of the pics, but he is definitely bantam sized...

2. Does anyone have any pics of what his offspring might possibly look like when crossed with BO, EE, BA, Columbian Wyandotte, Dominique, Amberlink, Cochin, BTW Jap, Black Jap, Salmon Faverolles, Silkie, etc? I guess I was also wondering if since he is a bantam, would his offspring by a LF hen be bantam or LF? or some "in between" size?

Here he is:

Pure bred old English don't have yellow legs. If I had o guess, I'm thinking OEGB/leghorn mix? Maybe OEGB/Rhode Island Red Bantam mix...

that's why I thought he might just be a hatchery OEGB or something... I've had him since he was about 8 weeks old. (he's about 3 now). I got him from a swap from some people that called them "banshees" lol! A lot of people around here get chicks from hatcheries and sell them at swaps. It is kind of deceiving when people just start out in the chicken-thing...

Well He's definitely not an Old English rooster. His leg color and his general body shape is wrong. He's too big and his chest is too broad to be one... Hmmm...

You may not have to worry about what the offspring will look like

. I have a bantam roo w/my big girls and I don't think their "private" areas (lol) line up right, as I haven't seen fertilized eggs. But my guy looks smaller than your roo, so I maybe...
