Bantam seems to be going blind.

One of my bantam's seems to be loosing her sight.... She is a little red around the eye, but have noticed in the last couple of days her sight is getting worse. Any idea what it could be?

Has she had any signs of a respiratory disease? Many viruses and bacterial diseases such as avian influenza, strep, and mycoplasma can cause eye inflammation leading to destruction of the eye and blindness. It may be something else such as cataract or eyeworm.

nope no other signs. nose is clear, and no mucus from either eyes of nose...
