The Silkies I hatched were from eggs sold and marked Porcelain. I just searched and found a Porcelain Silkie Thread. What I have is a F1 Porcelain. You are right...they are almost white.

Hope I have a pair and I already have a lav roo. So maybe this new baby is a F1.

PATCHES- Thought I would give you an update of the three serama eggs that made it to LD. Only two hatched, one marked BQ and one extremely LARGE unmarked egg. One chick is solid black and the other solid bright yellow. Any thoughts as to parents??

I am so glad!!! You know, they are hatching for me like popcorn on a cast iron skillet! These guys fertility and vigor is thru the roof! I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!!! We love our moderns (they are my parents pet chickens). It took me a while to convert my parents, but they are now on board with chickens. lol

Now, if only they would start laying again I could send eggs to my customers and swaps .... I can't swap any more because of them not laying right now. lol
