Help!
I found her this morning
She has swollen eyes, brown gold goopy dried so I cleaned it up.
She is my fisty girl who wont let me go within 10ft of her.
Anything I can do?
I gave her some vitamin water. She is in a can with towels in my room. shes at least 3 maybe older. She appeared a few years ago into my flock so I dont really know much about her

I recommend isolating her away from your flock and getting her started on tylan 50 injectable, 1/4cc orally twice a day for no more than 7 days for small bird...1/2cc orally twice a day for standard size bird.
What is tylan.? Where do I get it
She healed and is fine back with the flock! But in a completely different brooder coop area I have 10 out of 20 with goopy eyes. Everything else is good. I did ointment and eye wash them all like I did the other hen. But what the hell is going on! Could the heat lamp being off at night the problem? I took it off last week they are fully feathered and fine but now idk I am loosing my mind maybe I should just not be a chicken person I thought I was never ends. Monday my polish in the same brood was lethargic and cold. I pumped him full of viteims and is good now. I assume he was bullied out of food maybe idk

It sounds like your birds have some type of respiratory disease. Tylan 50 is an antibiotic. It can be purchased at TSC or maybe a feed store near you might carry it, call around and ask. You'll need a syringe with a needle to withdraw it from the bottle.

Holy moly I am pretty sure your right so here is my worry. I have turkeys and they are my big income. The chickens second. Will they all get this? How do I stop it? Are they ruined? Um, contagious for life type of thing? Will I have to cull them all? I am seriously panicking I have 60 birds all together right this moment from egg layers to turkeys. I have eggs in the incubator, I have 8 more turkeys arriving in a week.. eek. Sorry I am obviously freaking out and thinking the worst I hope

So the tylan isnt for chickens which is whatever but how much do you give? My 9 sick are maybe a pound. I'll weigh em vit they may be under 1. Do you do all the birds sick or not? What about my turkeys? And how young is to young

You really need to get your sickest bird tested either by bloodwork or preferably necropsied to find out exactly what you're dealing with. Contact your local extension agent and find out how to go about doing this.
I suspect it might be mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG,) bloodwork can test for MG.
The disease is transmittable to turkey's.
