Well, the only two ways of sexing day old chicks are Auto- and vent-. Since you can't safely vent-sex bannies, I suggest only keeping Wildtype and other autosexing varieties. They can be sexed (Wildtype) by the contrast of the shades in there pattern; or (autosexing) by the overall shade. (both cases, hens are darker and more contrasted than cockerels)
