Bantam Vs. Standard

Today on the Maury Povich Show:

our bantam silkies don't fly at all - well, only if they want to get away from something (mainly me most of the time when they don't want to get caught). my brahmas (standard) fly a lot.

Most bantams fly really well. Silkies can't fly well because they don't have barbs on their feathers that help in flight. That's why they are fluffy. I love my silkies, and my bantam mutts (that fly too well), and all of my standards.
