Ok so I adopted a little millie fluer OEGB, the guy I got him from said that his leg problems was from old age but I don't believe it. Its hard, flakey, warty and just plain painful for him. He looks healthy otherwise. Any suggestions?

Poor fella has some scaley leg mites that should have been treated long ago. They can still be fixed. Get some dog flea shampoo and mix some in some in water. Get a toothbrush and gently clean the legs with the solution. Get some Nu-Stock ointment:http://www.jefferspet.com/nu-stock/camid/EQU/cp/4F-A1/cn/25615/

Rub that into the scales of the leg thoroughly 3 times a week and it should clear up in a month. I used Sulphur Salve by Rooster Booster in the past, but it is hard to find anymore. Nu-Stock is quite common in feed stores. Call up your local one to see if they carry it or order it online.

Sorry that it has taken so long to respond back but the treatments are doing wonders for his little legs!
