I had a whole flock of cross breed Bantams with the little top hats. They were the coolest little things. I had to get rid of them because of my dogs. I wish I had them back, I miss them.

I had to say so because....your roo dad looks just like my roo.
I hatched him and a hen from bought eggs were told were spitzhauben?!
I've never found anything like him until now....
They are about 4 months older now than the pics but you can see our roos have the same comb and small crests...My girls crest is bigger than the roos.

There likely is no buttercup mix. A mixed Polish will often have a comb that looks like a buttercup. I know I have several.

Well her dad had a buttercup comb, and when King ( her dad ) was her age he looked the same as her! That's why I'm wondering if shes a mixed buttercup??? And she has a crest as you can see! I'll try'n take pictures when the snow is gone! It may be like Monday or Tuesday before I can take pics! Well now that I see your bird taras - farm he may be half spitzhauben and half polish or something, maybe? By the way bueatiful bird you have there! How is she a purebred??? Oh, sorry about now posting anything in awhile!

Never mind, it's pyncheon ! It's an extremely rare breed, commonly in the mille fleur pattern
