I've been having problems with predators also. I have one dog that loves running away, so we always fear she'll get killed by one of the coyotes out here. Well, on Sunday she decided to give us all a hard time and disappeared for a few hours. I was sitting outside, patiently waiting for her to come back, and to my surprise I see her chasing a raccoon! I was able to catch her, but she did get scratched... silly dog...
I have a dog named Scout, he has too much ADHD though to watch the birds and take care of the predators xD He was in dog 4H with me for 6 months and didn't learn one thing, he is such a dumbbutt xP

XD I have a dog named Stella, and she does just fine with the chickens and eating their poop... but she surprisingly doesn't like being outside! I believe this is because of the cold weather and simply having nothing to do out there. She's the smartest dog I have, but the laziest.

Our dog is too smart for his own good .-. It's annoying. He loves being outside, he loves the snow! Today was our first day in awhile for snow and he was the happiest dog on the planet, dashing through the snow, running around the house about 30 times xD
