Uhg, I just got bad birds. wrong comb shape, to many toes, that kinda thing.  Thats the way it goes I guess.
what color are your silkies?

there is only one white, grey and black one the other 3 are brown white black they look like little chipmunks

Well i am doing an essay for Hs. Lol easy stuff. and just been taking care of the animals. My silkies are broody again so i put the other hens eggs under them, I mean like u just had chicks why do u need more.

Broilers are meat chickens. their bred to put on a lot of muscle's very early on. like, 8 pounds at 8 weeks old.

I want to try broilers, although I don't think I would be able to cull them lol. I can skin and gut, it's just killing them that puts me off...

thought thats what it meant just wanted to make sure.
I couldn't do that to mine but our neighbor brought down some roosters and we had them for dinner and i haven't had chicken since it is to expensive

Really? chicken here is pretty cheap. Beef is crazy expensive though.
