Bantams for entire flock?

My daughter has bantams only - her flock is gorgeous! Lovely inquisitive little hens, lots of petite little eggs. They are gorgeous!

I use to keep an entire flock of bantams but I just like the more full bearded look of the LF Ameraucanas. So I switched to them. I also have some bantam breeds in the works though. I suggest a mixed flock. Its the best of both worlds

I have 14 bantams (about to add more) , a mix of sultans, cochins, d'uccles and silkies. They are just wonderful. And , the good thing about bantams is, they're so much smaller, you can have twice as many!

if you want bantams for laying buy easter egger bantams and if you want meat/ dual purpose bantams nothing beats dark cornish bantams

I don't think you can get enough meat for more than one person from just one bantam, unless it's a larger bantam like a Silkie.

Which is why I pointed out in the first post that I'm single. Only need meat for one!
