Whatcha Making for Supper?

Sorry you had such a bad day!!!

Thanks.
It definitely hit a bad cord for me. Almost to the point I wished I'd have lost my power. Then I'd be busy with candles and supplemental heat and generators... not first world problems with losing my internet.

It doesn't help I hate inefficiency.

A rant.

I've been offline most of the day. Which means no TV in my case, too.

I had a couple options open for dinner, but am currently not in the mood for cooking. So I might need to broaden my scope.

Two hours on the phone with T Mobile getting my phone turned into a hotspot. Which I know it's capable of, but the network settings needed reset for my TV and laptop to pick up on the hotspot connection. Who knew?

Eazy Peazy... once I got over to a real TS person. Twenty minutes with her and I was in business.

But the bad guy in the picture is Spectrum. IMO anyway.
I kept getting voicemails every two hours telling me my outage was because of a power outage. Finally, with most of the day gone I happened to see the cable laying across my yard :barnie So of course too late to fix it today. I wish I had looked at noon and seen that.

But if anything, I now know my way around turning my cell phone into a hotspot :)
Technology can be amazing at times.

As far as Spectrum, I need to check into my options. That's the problem when one utility gets a stronghold.

Sorry for the whining, but I had to vent.

In the meantime...
Last night I did have angel hair spaghetti for the fish stew :)

Sorry you had such a rough day. 😥

Corned beef and cabbage, of course.

Trying a new recipe for anyone interested. Starting the corned beef in the crock on low and finishing it under the broiler for a crusty top. Instead of putting the seasoning packet in the broth, it is mixed with garlic paste and black pepper and spread on the top of the corned beef. The beef is then cooked in only 2 cups of chicken broth rather than submerged entirely. The veggies are roasted separately. Full recipe is at TheFoodieEats.com.

I was going to make corned beef. I even saved a boiled dinner recipe.
But then I thought about it and realized, if it ain't in a Reuben or Rachel, I really don't like corned beef 🤔

One of these days. Maybe if I buy a flat I'll be tempted to see if I like it any better than I did 50 years ago. Maybe my Irish mother had no idea what she was doing, lol.
